The angle is too small

Correct angle

Oversized pad

When writing, the pad is too thick, and the tip of the pad is in contact with the paper. It is easy to wear off the beads. It is recommended that: 0.4 balls can not be rewritten; 0.5 balls can be written up to 1 page, not more; 0.7 ball can write up to 3 pages. To four, it is not appropriate to write more. It is best to write 75° when writing.


The role of the dye is to give the ink a sufficient color depth. The dyestuff used in ballpoint pen inks can be divided into oil-soluble dyes and alcohol-soluble dyes. The dye used in this test is a phthalocyanine-based dye that is insoluble in solvents and has good dispersion in the ink. Film Forming Agent

It is required to have a certain adhesion to paper, and it is not easy to peel off, but it can be wiped off with an eraser, and the colorant has strong adhesion, good solubility in solvents, and mutual stability with other components, can be long-term preservation . In this experiment, rubber-like film formers were used.


In the ink for erasable ballpoint pens, the role of the solvent is to dissolve the dyes, film formers and be compatible with various types of auxiliaries to provide a certain degree of fluidity, but also to have a reasonable volatility, in the writing process can effectively control the drying speed. Experiments show that the use of a co-solvent is better than a single solvent. In this experiment, a solvent-solvent system with solvent A: solvent B=1:1.5-2.5 was used, and the effect was best.

Other additives

(1) Lubricants and corrosion inhibitors

In the ink component, fatty acid is usually used as a lubricant, and the lubricant is a cosolvent at the same time. The functions of the lubricant include: A. Lubricating the ball and providing fluent writing. B. Preventing the ink from drying. The ballpoint pen has stable and good initial conditions. Pen performance; C, increase the depth of dye dissolution, improve dye color. The introduction of fatty acids is corrosive to certain nib metals, such as copper alloys, causing an inhomogeneous crystalline material in the ink to clog the channels, thereby shortening the life of the ballpoint pen. The use of fatty acids supplemented with corrosion inhibitors can solve corrosion problems while meeting lubrication requirements. The corrosion inhibitors used in the experiments were dissolved in fatty acids in a saturated state to achieve anti-corrosion purposes.

(2) Antioxidants and anti-drying agents

Another reason for the formation of agglomerated plugs and crowns in ballpoint inks is the oxidation of the brass and the interface and the production of copper and zinc compounds in the solution. The antioxidants contain substances that can absorb and absorb ambient oxygen, and therefore can effectively prevent oxidation. The use of antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors can more effectively prevent or inhibit the corrosion of copper alloys. Experiments have shown that the antioxidants we use are effective. good. In the experiment, we also used an anti-desiccant.
